Private Neuropsychiatric Assessment in Stockholm for Adults
At Martina Omnia, we offer private neuropsychiatric assessments in Stockholm for adults across the country, including ADHD assessments and autism assessments. When you contact us, we will review together what help you need and what you expect from the assessment. Based on this, we create a joint plan for how your NDD assessment will be conducted.
You will receive appointments for initial consultation, interview, family interview, psychological testing, and medical consultation, as well as a proposed time for feedback when the entire assessment is complete. Everything takes place in a calm and secure environment at our private psychology clinic in Nacka Strand, Stockholm.
After you contact us or are referred to us and explain what help you need and what expectations you have for the assessment, we create a joint plan for it.
You will receive appointments for initial consultation, interview, family interview, psychological testing, and medical consultation as well as a proposed time for feedback when the entire assessment is completed.
Forms
Before your first consultation, you will need to complete several forms and answer questions in our digital portal. The questions take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
Initial Consultation
Afterward, you will have your first initial consultation with the psychologist who reviews the forms you completed and supplements with additional questions. The consultation takes approximately 1.5 hours and is usually conducted digitally.
The initial consultation continues with a follow-up interview with the same psychologist, usually within a week. The psychologist reviews your history, and the entire interview takes 1.5-2 hours.
Testing
The next part involves the psychologist meeting with you to conduct the planned tests. These tests are conducted at our clinic. A cognitive assessment and other psychological tests adapted to the specific inquiry are performed. Testing typically takes 3 hours, but sometimes more or less time may be needed.
Medical Assessment
A medical assessment is conducted where the physician performs a medical and psychiatric evaluation. This is important to rule out medical and psychiatric conditions and to determine the need for assistance beyond the planned assessment. The medical assessment is done at our clinic, and we try to schedule it for the same day as your meeting with the psychologist. The medical consultation takes approximately 60 minutes.
Family Interview
During the assessment process, we will also need to speak with a close relative of yours (often a parent) to understand how the difficulties you’ve described manifested during your upbringing.
Feedback
When all parts are completed, the psychologist and physician meet to review all information and assess and summarize everything, after which this is shared with you during a feedback session.
The feedback is provided by the psychologist and is usually a digital appointment. The feedback session takes approximately 1 hour in total.
You will also receive a written summary (neuropsychiatric report) that includes the assessment results and both general and personalized recommendations.
