Consultation
What are the most common reasons for patients being booked for assessment?
This may include, for example, a position on a new assessment of NDD, or a supplement for autism or ADHD in someone who already has a diagnosis.
In slightly older teenagers and young adults, it may be a matter of assessing what kind of help they need: psychological treatment, investigation, or referral to adult psychiatry.
In small children, it may be a matter of unclear developmental delay/linguistic deviations.
It may be a matter of medication that is not working.
Sometimes we meet people who feel bad without really knowing why and need further help.
We accept eating disorders for mapping and further referral.
